Final Cut Pro Certified Training

Next Byte Charlotte St offers two Final Cut Pro 6 Apple Certified Trainers: Iain Anderson and Jonathan Dowler. We'll be offering Apple's Final Cut Pro courses in three lengths as well as a non-certifed one-day course for a customised introduction. Certified courses include a detailed look (FCP 101, three days), or an in-depth, thorough examination of the program (FCP 200, five days).

Please examine the course notes in the links above to decide which course is right for you. If none of them are right for you, we can offer an ad-hoc course to suit. Pricing:

• FCP 101: $1250
• FCP 200: $1700

There is a two person minimum on all courses or a 50% surcharge for one-on-one training. Please contact us for further pricing confirmation or use the form below to make a booking. We can arrange Final Cut Pro 6 Level 1 End User certification on request (exam undertaken off-site). The certification cost is included in the FCP200 course. If you plan to undertake certification, we recommend FCP200, or FCP101 and additional study before the exam.

Adobe Photoshop Masterclass

Master the power of Adobe® Photoshop® CS/CS2/CS3, the industry standard in image-editing for photographers, professional designers and graphics producers. Masterclasses consist of four sessions, each covering many techniques and features:

• Brushes and Layers: powerful techniques for getting the most out of brushes and layers, plus many common shortcuts
• Channels, Selection and Masking: how to use these related concepts to produce the best selections with maximum flexbility
• Adjustments and Filters: the best ways to improve tonal range, correct colour or affect an image more drastically, without sacrificing workflow
• Retouching and Image Processing: industry tips on how to improve any image

Adobe Photoshop CS1/CS2/CS3 master classes are limited to 6 persons per class. This original course includes step-by-step notes and is delivered by Iain Anderson, who has extensive retouching, design, print, multimedia and training experience. Cost per person is $400 for the day, including notes.
